The Acton Jazz Cafe in West Acton will have a jazz Concert.This is to support the Department of Peace,from noon-10:00 p.m. on Father's Day June 17th.
From Boston: Route 2 East to the Concord Reformatory traffic circle; Route 2A & 119 West for 3.5 miles,also known as Great Road.Acton Jazz Cafe is at 452 Great Rd. Acton.
From 128,points North and South exit onto Rte 2 West to the traffic circle; Rte 2A & 119 West for 3.5 miles to 452 great Rd.
From the West: Rte 2 to Rte 27 North to 2A West to 452 Great Rd.
From Rte 495 North and South; Rte 2a & 119 east for 8.5 miles 40 452 Great Rd. Acton.
On September 11th in Marblehead,Mass. Marblehad Peace Committe is hosting an evening of Song,meditation,speakers,film, poetry,refreshments and information about the department of peace. This will be held at the Abbot Library at 7:00 p.m.
Take 128 North ,get off exit 25A. Take 114 to Marblehead. Continue on 114 when you pass the Mary Alley Hospital on your left,you are quite near. The address for the library is 235 Pleasant St. Marblehead,Mass.
On September 15th There will be a walk for the department of peace starting at 10:00 a.m. in concord,Mass. It will start at the library. The walk is to the park after crossing the north bridge,and back to the library.It is a total of 3 miles. Walk as far as you can. Registraion will be at 9:30,unless you do it on line.You will need to bring the registration form with you.The registration will be on the right of the library,as you face the library.

There will be a lecture on Non-Violence.The speaker will be Dr. Jack DuVail,the president of the International Center for Non-Violence. It will be at the Trinitarian Congreational Church in Concord,Mass. at 7:00 p.m.
Once at the Concord library heading into the center of Concord,you will take on right onto Walden Street.The church will be on the right,after the post office.
On September 21st the flags will be flying from many different countries in Concord,Mass,a breakfast for peace at Helen's restaurant 9-11 a.m. in Concord. A moment of silence at noon,church bells ringing.
Once at the Concord library going into the center of Concord,this is main street.Helen's is on the right a little before the flag pole.
On Monday September 24th ,there will be a peace vigil at Trinitarian Congreational Church in Concord,Mass. it will be at 7:00 in the evening.
